Cranksgiving Bournemouth 2025 - 16th (Family) and 26th of November
It’s that time of year again — Cranksgiving Bournemouth is back! The annual mash-up of bike ride, food drive, and scavenger hunt returns this November, bringing together our local cycling community to do something good (and have a lot of fun doing it).
Cranksgiving began over two decades ago in New York City and has since spread across the globe — each event unique, but with one shared goal: collect food to help those in need during the colder months. In Bournemouth, we’re proud to keep that tradition rolling with two rides that suit all kinds of riders - from families, cargo-bike champs to speedy short cut taking navigators.
Participation is free — all you need is your bike, a bag, and some money to buy the food items on your shopping list. Everything collected will be donated to Hope for Food, supporting those who need it most this winter.

🎁 Sponsors & Charity Partners
Cranksgiving Bournemouth wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of our sponsors — a huge thank you to this year’s lineup of generous brands and friends who’ve helped make the event happen:
We Out Here, Hope Tech, Hiplok, Muc-Off, Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, Hard Lines Coffee, Bad Hand Coffee, Red Fin Cider, Lush, Flaming Noras, and of course, Velo Domestique.
Their support means we can offer brilliant prizes, spread the word further, and make an even bigger impact for Hope for Food. We’re incredibly grateful for all of their support for the 2025 event.
And a special shout-out to Nicholas John Frith, who designed this year’s awesome Cranksgiving poster — it perfectly captures the spirit of the ride: fun, community, and doing good on two wheels.
All collected food will go to local charity Hope for Food, supporting families and individuals facing hardship this winter through food parcels and soup kitchens.
Bring your lights, your lock and your pals — let’s make Cranksgiving Bournemouth 2025 the biggest yet.
See you on 23rd & 26th November!
