Planned Cafe & Workshop Refurbishments - Temporary Closures from 27th May (Cafe) and 26th May (Bike Workshop)

After a busy spring, we’re taking some time to carry out refurbishments in both our café and bike workshop ready for Summer. These updates will help us create a more open and welcoming space for you, and give our team the room they need to do what they do best.

Cafe Refurbishment

Closed from Tuesday, 27th May – Reopening Friday, 6th June

Our cafe will be temporarily closed while we make some long-planned updates to the space. This includes reworking our counter layout enabling us to expand our offering of fresh drinks. It’s also a chance to give our space a little refresh.

Takeaway coffee and cakes will be available from Saturday, 31st May from our pop-up counter, so you can still grab your morning brew while the main cafe is being worked on.

Bike Workshop Refurbishment

Closed from Monday, 26th May – Reopening Monday, 2nd June

The bike workshop will also be closed for a short period. We’re reshaping the space to make room for a new display area for our growing range of Cargo bikes, while also improving the working environment for our mechanics.

If your bike is currently in for servicing, we kindly ask that it be collected before Monday, 26th May to avoid any delays during the closure.

Online Shop Open 24/7

Our online shop remains open at all times, including The Big Velo Bike Sale. You can continue to order coffee beans for collection or delivery, freshly ground to your brewing needs.

Thank You

We truly appreciate your understanding during these temporary closures. These changes are designed with our community in mind, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you back into refreshed spaces that will allow us to serve you even better.

Thank you again for your continued support and patience.

Warm wishes,

The Velo Domestique Team
